dp-brakes-dpk124-clutch-kit-for-yamaha-yz85
DP Brakes Clutch Kit for Yamaha YZ85 (DPK124)

The DP Brakes DPK124 Clutch Kit is engineered to outperform OEM and aftermarket clutch components on Yamaha YZ85 off-road motorcycles. The complete kit includes friction plates, steel drive plates, and precision clutch springs, providing the components needed for a reliable clutch refresh. When the original equipment clutch uses a reusable diaphragm spring, the kit is supplied without a replacement diaphragm spring. Each kit arrives in a foam-lined, hard plastic case that helps protect components before installation and can later be reused to store parts, tools, or riding gear.
The DPK124 clutch kit is race-ready without requiring the friction plates to be pre-soaked in oil. Exclusive high-heat friction materials deliver smooth, consistent power transfer and fade-resistant performance during demanding riding. The friction compounds are specifically developed for off-road and dual-sport applications, offering greater durability than standard OEM plates while supporting precise clutch engagement and dependable operation.
Included steel drive plates are designed to resist expansion, clutch fade, and clutch swell commonly associated with stock aluminum plates. Their added weight can provide a useful flywheel effect to assist starting and improve traction, while the steel construction will not muddy or contaminate engine oil. The plates are built for extended service life, with up to three times the life of stock components under suitable riding conditions.
DP Brakes clutch springs are precision-wound from high-grade chrome silicone wire, then heat-treated and shot-peened for long-term durability. Individually selected spring rates help prevent clutch slippage while maintaining smooth clutch feel and manageable lever operation. With its durable materials, consistent engagement, and protective storage case, the DP Brakes DPK124 is a practical upgrade for riders seeking dependable clutch performance from their Yamaha YZ85.

Features:

Complete clutch kit with friction plates, steel drive plates, and clutch springs

Designed for Yamaha YZ85 off-road motorcycles

Race-ready friction plates require no pre-soaking in oil

High-heat friction materials support fade-resistant performance

Friction compounds are developed for off-road and dual-sport riding

Steel drive plates resist expansion, fade, and clutch swell

Steel plates help prevent oil contamination

Drive plates can provide added flywheel effect for starting and traction

Up to three times the service life of stock plates under suitable conditions

Precision-wound chrome silicone clutch springs

Heat-treated and shot-peened springs provide long-lasting performance

Strong spring rates help prevent clutch slippage

Designed to improve clutch feel and ease of operation

Foam-lined hard plastic case protects components and can be reused for storage

Ships from Parts Unlimited.
