Athena Top End Race Gasket Kit for Yamaha (R4856-199)

The Athena R4856-199 Top End Race Gasket Kit is designed for professional, semi-professional, and amateur riders who refresh their engine before a race or during the riding season. This performance-focused gasket set supports reliable top-end service while giving riders greater control over engine compression and fuel selection.
The kit includes an Athena MLSS head gasket and two or more premium-quality base gaskets in different thicknesses. This selection allows the builder to optimize the engine’s compression ratio for a specific setup. Riders can use a standard fuel configuration with stock compression or select a higher-compression arrangement intended for race fuel, depending on engine requirements and tuning goals.
Built for race-oriented engine maintenance, the Athena R4856-199 gasket kit helps simplify top-end rebuilding and provides multiple base-gasket options for precise setup changes. It is a practical choice for Yamaha applications where compression tuning and dependable sealing are important.
This kit does not include valve stem seals, rubber components, shims, or additional fiber gaskets. Verify application and engine specifications before installation to ensure the correct fit and compression configuration.
