EBC Heavy-Duty Clutch Kit (DRC288)

The EBC DRC288 Heavy-Duty Clutch Kit is engineered for reliable performance, smooth engagement, and increased durability in demanding riding conditions. This complete engine set includes friction plates, heavy-duty clutch springs, and steel separator plates designed to work together as a matched replacement system. EBC combines proven materials and robust construction to help restore consistent clutch operation while supporting long service life.
The anti-swell, alloy-impregnated cork-based friction facings provide smooth clutch take-up and controlled modulation. Unlike paper clutch plates, which can tend to grab or snatch, this cork-based design helps deliver more predictable engagement for improved control. The included steel separator plates help reduce premature driven plate wear, oil muddying, and loss of clutch stack height, helping maintain dependable performance over time.
Swagged aluminum carriers distribute load across the clutch basket to help prevent clutch basket dogging and promote reliable plate movement. The kit also includes clutch springs uprated by 10–15 percent over standard specifications, providing increased clamping force for demanding applications. Designed as a complete EBC replacement solution, the DRC288 helps support confident acceleration, consistent power transfer, and durable clutch performance.
