Moose Racing Black Vinyl Clutch Cable for Honda (45-2147)

The MOOSE OFFROAD Black Vinyl Clutch Cable, Part 45-2147, is designed for dependable clutch control on compatible Honda motorcycles and powersports applications. This clutch cable assembly features a flexible black PVC outer jacket that resists everyday wear while allowing smooth routing through the vehicle. Its durable construction supports reliable operation in demanding riding conditions, making it a practical replacement for a worn, stretched, or damaged original cable.
The steel inner casing is tightly coiled to help maintain a low compression ratio and consistent cable response. A pre-lubricated nylon inner sleeve reduces friction between the inner wire and casing, promoting smooth clutch lever movement and extended service life. This ready-to-install design helps restore predictable clutch engagement and release without unnecessary cable maintenance.
MOOSE OFFROAD builds the 45-2147 cable with carefully formed wire ends that are bird-caged before terminal casting. This process improves pull-out resistance and helps maintain secure connections under repeated clutch operation. EPDM molded rubber components provide strong resistance to ultraviolet exposure and long-term environmental wear, while injection-molded components made from high-strength POM material add durability at key connection points. Verify compatibility with your Honda model before installation.
