Moose Racing Piston Kit, 97.00 mm for Yamaha (MPX1068)

The Moose Offroad MPX1068 Piston Kit is engineered for Yamaha applications requiring dependable performance, reduced friction, and long-term durability. Its fully boxed-style forging delivers high strength while helping reduce weight and friction, making it well suited for demanding off-road riding and high-performance engine use. The full-radius dome design promotes an efficient quench area and helps eliminate hot spots that can contribute to detonation.
The piston features internal bracing designed to maximize durability while reducing friction within the wrist pin assembly. A standard skirt coating further lowers friction and heat, supporting consistent operation under demanding conditions. The included DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) wrist pin provides excellent resistance to abrasive wear, helping extend service life and reliability in extreme operating environments.
This complete kit includes the forged piston, DLC-coated wrist pin, piston rings, and circlips for a convenient installation solution. The Moose Offroad MPX1068 Piston Kit is manufactured in the USA and is designed to provide the fit, strength, and performance needed for Yamaha engine rebuilds and performance applications. Verify application compatibility before installation.
