Moose Racing Piston Kit, 77.00 mm for Yamaha (MPX1089)

Upgrade your Yamaha engine with the Moose Offroad MPX1089 Piston Kit, engineered for strength, durability, and reliable performance in demanding off-road applications. The fully boxed-style forging provides a strong, lightweight structure designed to minimize friction while supporting efficient power delivery. A full-radius dome design helps maximize quench and eliminate hot spots that can contribute to detonation, promoting dependable operation under demanding riding conditions.
The piston features internal bracing that improves durability while reducing friction in the wrist pin assembly. Each forging includes a skirt coating designed to reduce friction and heat, helping support consistent performance and extended component life. The included wrist pin uses DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating, a proven technology valued for its high resistance to abrasive wear and its ability to improve reliability during severe operating conditions.
This Moose Offroad piston kit includes the piston, DLC-coated wrist pin, piston rings, and circlips for a convenient replacement solution. The 77.00 mm piston is designed for compatible Yamaha applications and is made in the USA. Verify engine fitment and application requirements before installation to ensure proper compatibility and performance.
