Moose Racing Piston Kit, 77.00 mm, Kawasaki (MPX3061)

The Moose Offroad MPX3061 Piston Kit is engineered for Kawasaki applications requiring dependable performance, durability, and efficient power delivery. This high-quality piston assembly features a fully boxed-style forging that provides excellent strength while helping minimize friction and reduce overall weight. The full-radius dome design improves quench performance and helps eliminate hot spots that can contribute to detonation, supporting reliable operation under demanding riding conditions.
Internal bracing enhances durability while reducing friction within the wrist pin assembly. The piston forging also includes a standard skirt coating designed to reduce friction and heat, helping promote consistent performance and extended component life. The included wrist pin features a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating, a proven technology recognized for its high resistance to abrasive wear and its ability to improve service life and reliability in extreme conditions.
This complete Moose Offroad piston kit includes the piston, DLC-coated wrist pin, piston rings, and circlips for a convenient installation. Designed for Kawasaki applications, the MPX3061 kit is manufactured in the USA and provides the critical components needed for a dependable top-end rebuild. Verify application compatibility and required clearances before installation to ensure proper fit and performance.
