Moose Racing Pro Race Piston Kit 79.00 mm for Honda (MPX2083A-P)

Upgrade engine durability and performance with the Moose Offroad Pro Race Piston Kit, part number MPX2083A-P, designed for compatible Honda applications. The Pro Race piston uses a stress-reducing pin bore design that allows controlled wrist-pin flex, helping improve reliability under demanding riding and racing conditions. Its full-radius dome design maximizes quench and helps eliminate hot spots that can contribute to detonation.
Internal bracing strengthens the piston assembly while helping reduce friction around the wrist pin. The piston also includes a standard skirt coating that lowers friction and heat, supporting smooth operation and improved component longevity. A DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated wrist pin is included, using a proven surface treatment with high resistance to abrasive wear for increased service life and reliability in extreme conditions.
This Moose Offroad piston kit includes the piston, DLC-coated wrist pin, piston rings, and circlips for a complete installation package. Manufactured in the USA, the MPX2083A-P kit combines durable construction, friction-reducing features, and race-focused engineering for riders and builders seeking dependable performance from a compatible Honda engine.
