ProX Piston Kit for Yamaha YZ125, 53.95 mm (01.2217.A)

The PROX 01.2217.A Piston Kit is an OEM-style replacement designed for Yamaha YZ125 applications. Manufactured in Japan, this piston kit is built for dependable fit, consistent performance, and long-term service in demanding two-stroke engine environments. It provides a practical solution for engine rebuilding or replacing worn piston components while maintaining the quality expected from PROX products.
Cast from a high-silicon-content aluminum alloy, the piston is engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications. Each piston is CNC-machined to extremely close tolerances to promote accurate fitment and consistent interaction with the cylinder, piston rings, wrist pin, and related engine components.
The PROX 01.2217.A kit includes the essential components needed for installation, including the piston, ring kit, wrist pin, and circlips. This complete configuration helps simplify the rebuild process and ensures that key replacement parts are matched for the intended application. Verify your Yamaha YZ125 model year and existing cylinder specifications before installation to confirm compatibility.
Built for riders, technicians, and engine builders seeking a high-quality replacement, the PROX Piston Kit combines Japanese manufacturing, OEM-focused design, and precision machining in one convenient package. Follow the engine manufacturer’s service procedures for piston clearance, ring installation, wrist pin assembly, and break-in requirements.
