PSR Manual Cam Chain Tensioner for Honda (03-02001-29)

Improve cam chain control with the PSR 03-02001-29 Manual Cam Chain Tensioner, designed for compatible Honda engines. CNC-machined from durable billet aluminum and finished in gunmetal, this replacement tensioner provides a precise, dependable alternative to the factory automatic or hydraulic tensioner. Its robust construction supports reliable performance in demanding street and powersports applications.
The PSR manual tensioner helps eliminate out-of-timing issues associated with automatic tensioner operation while reducing the risk of excess chain tension and premature engine wear commonly linked to hydraulic tensioner problems. By allowing accurate manual adjustment, it gives you greater control over cam chain tension and helps maintain consistent engine timing.
The 03-02001-29 tensioner also helps address cam chain rattling caused by factory tensioner failure. Its direct replacement design is intended for installation on compatible Honda applications, making it a practical upgrade or replacement when restoring proper cam chain operation. Verify vehicle and engine compatibility before installation, and follow the manufacturer’s adjustment and installation procedures for best results.
