RK 525 XRE Gold Motorcycle Drive Chain, 120 Links (GB525XRE-120)

The RK GB525XRE-120 525 XRE drive chain is designed for OE replacement on mid-size motorcycles, delivering dependable performance for both on-road and off-road riding. Its lightweight, durable construction supports quick, smooth acceleration while providing the tensile strength required for reliable power transfer. Developed with technology influenced by racing applications, this gold-finished chain is built for riders who expect consistent performance and extended service life.
The chain features RK’s original double-X-shaped XW-Ring seal, which helps reduce lubricant loss and contamination compared with conventional O-ring designs. Each XW-Ring creates three lubricant pools, helping retain lubrication at the pin and bushing contact points for longer wear life. The seals are secured with specially formulated, vacuum-injected U-grease and tough nitrile butadiene rubber for dependable protection in demanding riding conditions.
Polished and shot-peened link plates improve durability and help the RK GB525XRE-120 withstand repeated loading during acceleration and extended use. The chain includes a rivet connecting link for installation and is engineered as a practical replacement solution for compatible 525 chain applications. Always confirm motorcycle fitment, chain specifications, and connecting-link requirements before installation. Use proper chain alignment, tension, and lubrication procedures to support optimal performance and service life.
