Vertex Forged Piston Kit, 91.93 mm for Yamaha WR/YZ400F (22567A)

The Vertex 22567A Piston Kit is a forged OE replacement designed for Yamaha WR400F and YZ400F applications. Built to meet demanding engine performance requirements, this replica piston provides dependable fit, durability, and consistent operation for motorcycle rebuilds and performance maintenance. The piston is heat-treated using an AT-5 hardening and tempering cycle to improve strength and durability under demanding operating conditions. Its skirt features a molybdenum disulfide coating that helps reduce friction during initial operation, supporting faster break-in and contributing to extended piston life. This treatment helps promote smooth movement within the cylinder while maintaining dependable performance throughout the service life of the component.
The Vertex forged replica piston and included rings are manufactured as OEM replacement components for compatible Yamaha engines. The 22567A kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips, providing the essential components needed for a complete piston replacement. Verify engine compatibility and application details before installation to ensure the correct fit for your Yamaha WR/YZ400F motorcycle.
