Vertex Piston Kit, 66.35 mm for Honda CR250R (22581B)

The Vertex 22581B Piston Kit is designed as a cast original-equipment replacement for the Honda CR250R. Built from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with an 18% silicone content, this piston provides a dependable fit and durable performance for engine rebuilding and maintenance applications. Its OE-replacement design makes it a practical choice for restoring proper compression and reliable engine operation.
The piston is heat treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to improve strength and durability under demanding riding conditions. The piston skirt features a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that promotes faster break-in and helps reduce friction during initial operation. This coating also contributes to extended piston service life when the engine is properly assembled, lubricated, and maintained.
This Vertex kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips needed for installation. The 66.35 mm piston size is engineered for compatibility with the Honda CR250R application listed, helping simplify the replacement process. Follow the manufacturer’s service procedures for inspection, clearances, installation, and break-in to support dependable long-term performance.
