Vertex Forged Piston Kit, 76.95 mm for Yamaha YZ250F (22805B)

Restore reliable engine performance with the Vertex 22805B Forged Piston Kit, designed as a forged original-equipment replacement for select Yamaha YZ250F applications. This piston kit is engineered to support dependable operation, consistent performance, and long service life in demanding motorcycle environments. The piston is manufactured to OEM replacement standards, making it a practical choice for engine rebuilding or replacement applications where precise fit and proven construction are important.
The piston receives a heat-treatment process using an A-T5 hardening and tempering cycle to improve material strength and durability. Its skirt features a molybdenum disulfide coating that helps promote faster break-in and reduce friction during initial operation. This coating also supports increased piston life by helping the piston move smoothly within the cylinder while maintaining dependable performance throughout the service interval.
The Vertex 22805B kit includes the essential components needed for installation, including the forged piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips. The piston and included rings are designed as OEM replacements, helping simplify the rebuilding process and providing compatibility with the specified Yamaha YZ250F application. Verify engine year, model, bore specification, and service requirements before installation to ensure proper fit and assembly.
