Vertex Piston Kit for Honda CR85R/RB, 47.45 mm (22863B)

The Vertex 22863B Piston Kit is a cast OE replacement solution for Honda CR85R and CR85RB engines. Designed for dependable fit and performance, this kit includes the essential components needed for piston replacement, helping simplify engine service and restoration. The piston is manufactured from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with an 18% silicone content for a balance of strength, durability, and reliable operation in demanding two-stroke applications.
The piston receives a T-5 heat-treatment cycle that combines hardening and tempering to improve material performance and long-term durability. Its skirt features a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that promotes faster break-in and helps reduce friction during initial operation. These features support consistent piston movement and contribute to extended piston life when installed and maintained according to the engine manufacturer’s specifications.
This Vertex piston kit includes the 47.45 mm piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips. It is designed as an OE replacement for compatible Honda CR85R/RB models and provides a practical option for routine rebuilds, top-end maintenance, and engine refurbishment. Verify application and engine compatibility before installation to ensure proper fitment and performance.
