Vertex Piston Kit, 66.36 mm for KTM 250 SX (22909B)

The Vertex 22909B Piston Kit is a cast original-equipment replacement solution for the KTM 250 SX. Designed for dependable performance and fitment, this kit uses a gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content to provide a durable piston platform for recreational, competition, and replacement applications. The piston is engineered to support consistent operation while maintaining the characteristics expected from a quality Vertex replacement component.
The piston receives a T-5 heat-treating cycle that combines hardening and tempering for improved material durability. Its skirt is finished with a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating, helping reduce friction during initial operation for faster break-in and supporting extended piston life. This coating also promotes smooth piston movement within the cylinder, contributing to reliable engine performance when installed according to manufacturer procedures.
This complete Vertex piston kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips for a convenient replacement package. The 66.36 mm piston size is designed for compatible KTM 250 SX applications. Verify engine specifications, cylinder condition, clearance requirements, and model-year fitment before installation to ensure proper compatibility. Use the Vertex part number 22909B when ordering or confirming application details.
