Vertex Forged Piston Kit, 77.95 mm for Honda CRF250R/X (22983A)

The Vertex 22983A Piston Kit is a forged original-equipment replacement designed for select Honda CRF250R and CRF250X applications. Manufactured to support dependable engine performance, this piston provides a precise replacement solution for riders and technicians rebuilding or servicing compatible four-stroke engines. Its forged construction delivers the strength and durability required for demanding off-road and motocross use.
The piston is heat-treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to improve material performance and resistance under operating stress. The piston skirt features a molybdenum disulfide coating that helps reduce friction during initial operation, supports faster break-in, and contributes to extended piston service life. The 77.95 mm piston is engineered as a forged replica of the original-equipment design for proper fit and dependable function when matched to the specified application.
This complete Vertex piston kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips, providing the primary components needed for installation. The piston and included rings are intended as OEM replacements, helping simplify the rebuilding process while maintaining compatibility with the original engine configuration. Verify engine model, year, and required piston specification before installation to ensure proper fitment and clearance.
