Vertex Piston Kit, 51.95 mm for KTM 105 SX/XC (22991A)

Upgrade the top-end performance and reliability of your KTM 105 SX or XC with the Vertex 22991A Piston Kit. Designed as a cast OE replacement piston, this kit provides a dependable fit and consistent operation for engine rebuilding, maintenance, or performance restoration. The piston is manufactured from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, offering a balance of strength, durability, and controlled expansion for demanding off-road riding conditions.
The piston receives a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to improve material durability and help it withstand the heat and stress associated with high-performance two-stroke engines. Its skirt is finished with a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that promotes faster break-in and helps reduce friction during initial operation. This coating also supports extended piston life when the engine is properly assembled, lubricated, and maintained according to manufacturer recommendations.
The Vertex 22991A kit includes the essential components needed for installation, including the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips. With a 51.95 mm piston size, it is engineered for compatibility with KTM 105 SX and XC applications. Verify engine specifications, clearance requirements, and application details before installation to ensure proper fitment and reliable performance.
