Vertex Piston Kit, 57.95 mm for Yamaha (23335A)

The Vertex 23335A Piston Kit is designed for Yamaha engines requiring a reliable 57.95 mm big-bore piston. By increasing engine displacement, this piston can help improve torque and peak horsepower when properly matched with the engine build and supporting components. The kit provides the essential components needed for piston replacement, making it a practical choice for performance-oriented engine service and rebuilds.
The piston is manufactured from a gravity-cast aluminum alloy containing 18% silicone rather than forged material. This construction is engineered to provide dependable performance in demanding applications while supporting consistent operation. A T-5 heat-treatment cycle hardens and tempers the piston for improved durability, helping it withstand the heat and loads generated during high-performance riding or racing conditions.
The piston skirt features a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating designed to reduce friction during initial operation. This coating supports faster break-in and may contribute to longer piston life by promoting smoother skirt movement within the cylinder. The Vertex 23335A kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips for a complete replacement package. Verify engine compatibility and required clearances before installation.
