Vertex Piston Kit, 39.47 mm for GasGas, Husqvarna and KTM (23429CD)

Upgrade engine performance and support dependable service with the Vertex 23429CD Piston Kit. Designed as a cast original-equipment replacement piston for select GasGas, Husqvarna and KTM applications, this kit combines carefully engineered materials and surface treatments to promote consistent operation, reliable fitment and extended piston life. The 39.47 mm piston is suited for riders and technicians seeking a direct replacement solution for maintenance or engine rebuilding.
The Vertex piston is manufactured from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with an 18% silicone content. This material composition provides the strength and dimensional stability required for demanding engine environments while maintaining the characteristics expected from a cast OE replacement piston. The piston undergoes a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to improve durability and help it withstand repeated heat cycles and operating loads.
For improved initial operation, the piston skirt features a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating. This low-friction coating helps promote faster break-in and may reduce wear during the early stages of service. The complete Vertex 23429CD kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin and circlips, providing the primary components needed for a thorough piston replacement. Always verify application compatibility and follow the engine manufacturer’s installation procedures before assembly.
