Vertex Piston Kit, 44.97 mm for GasGas MC65, Husqvarna TC65 and KTM 65 SX/SXS/XC (23430CD)

The Vertex 23430CD Piston Kit is designed as a cast OE replacement for select 65cc motocross and off-road engines, including the GasGas MC65, Husqvarna TC65, and KTM 65 SX, SXS, and XC models. Made from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, this piston is engineered to provide dependable fit, consistent performance, and durability for demanding riding conditions.
The piston receives a T-5 heat-treating cycle that combines hardening and tempering to improve strength and wear resistance. Its skirt features a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating designed to promote faster engine break-in while helping reduce friction and extend piston service life. This combination of materials and surface treatments supports reliable operation during motocross, trail, and off-road use.
This Vertex piston kit includes the essential components needed for installation, including the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips. The 44.97 mm piston size is intended for compatible applications listed below; always verify engine specifications, model year, cylinder condition, and manufacturer service requirements before installation. Vertex part number 23430CD provides a practical replacement solution for maintaining engine performance and serviceability.
