Vertex Piston Kit for TM MX85, 47.88 mm (23666B)

The VERTEX 23666B Piston Kit is a cast OE replacement designed for TM MX85 applications. Manufactured from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, this piston is engineered to provide dependable performance and fitment for engine rebuilding and service applications. The kit includes the essential components needed for installation, helping streamline the replacement process.
The piston is heat treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to improve material strength and durability under demanding operating conditions. Its skirt features a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that helps reduce friction during initial operation, supports faster break-in, and contributes to extended piston life. This coating is especially beneficial when restoring consistent engine performance after a piston replacement.
As a cast OE replacement piston, the VERTEX 23666B offers a practical solution for maintaining the TM MX85 engine without the added complexity of a full custom piston setup. The kit contains the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips, providing a coordinated group of replacement parts for a complete piston service. Verify application and installation requirements before assembly to ensure proper engine compatibility and performance.
