Vertex Piston Kit, 96.93 mm for Yamaha (23958A)

Restore dependable engine performance with the Vertex 23958A Piston Kit, designed as a forged original-equipment replacement for select Yamaha applications. This piston kit provides a reliable replacement solution for rebuilding or servicing an engine while maintaining the fit and functionality expected from a quality OEM-style component. The piston is manufactured for durability and consistent operation under demanding engine conditions.
The piston receives a heat-treated A-T5 hardening and tempering cycle to improve strength and wear resistance. Its skirt is finished with a molybdenum disulfide coating, which helps promote faster break-in and supports extended piston life by reducing friction during operation. This combination of forged construction, heat treatment, and skirt coating is engineered to provide dependable service through the complete engine rebuild process.
The Vertex 23958A kit includes the essential components needed for installation: one forged replacement piston, piston rings, a wrist pin, and circlips. The piston and included rings are designed as OEM replacements for compatible Yamaha engines, helping simplify parts selection and ensure that the key reciprocating components are supplied together. Verify application and engine compatibility before installation to ensure proper fitment and performance.
