Vertex Piston Kit, 95.96 mm for Kawasaki KX450F (24018A)

The Vertex 24018A Piston Kit is a forged original-equipment replacement designed for Kawasaki KX450F applications. Built to support reliable engine performance, this replica piston matches OEM replacement specifications and provides a dependable solution for engine rebuilding, maintenance, or performance restoration. The piston is heat-treated using an AT-5 hardening and tempering cycle to improve material strength, durability, and resistance to demanding operating conditions. Its skirt features a molybdenum disulfide coating that helps reduce friction during initial operation, promoting faster break-in and supporting extended piston service life. These features make the Vertex piston a practical choice for riders and technicians seeking consistent fit and dependable performance.
Designed as an OEM replacement, the Vertex 24018A piston kit helps simplify component selection by including the key parts required for installation. The forged construction is suited to the high-load environment of a motocross engine, while the included rings, wrist pin, and circlips help ensure the replacement components are matched for the application. Always verify engine specifications and service requirements before installation to confirm compatibility with your Kawasaki KX450F.
