Vertex Piston Kit, 46.94 mm for GasGas, Husqvarna and KTM (24212A)

The VERTEX 24212A Piston Kit is designed as a cast original-equipment replacement for select GasGas, Husqvarna and KTM motorcycles. Manufactured from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with an 18% silicon content, this piston provides dependable strength, dimensional stability and performance for engine rebuilds and routine replacement applications. Its 46.94 mm piston size is engineered for compatible factory cylinder specifications.
The piston is heat treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to support durability under demanding operating conditions. The piston skirt features a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that helps reduce friction during initial operation, promotes faster break-in and contributes to extended piston life. This coating supports smooth movement within the cylinder while helping protect contact surfaces during the critical early stages of engine service.
This complete VERTEX piston kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin and circlips for a convenient installation. Designed to help restore proper engine performance and reliability, the VERTEX 24212A is a practical choice for maintenance, repair and rebuild projects requiring a quality cast replacement piston. Verify vehicle and cylinder compatibility before installation, and follow the manufacturer’s service procedures for ring placement, clearance checks and final assembly.
