Vertex Forged Piston Kit, 87.97 mm for Husqvarna and KTM (24213B)

The Vertex 24213B Piston Kit is a forged original-equipment replacement designed for select Husqvarna and KTM applications. Built to support dependable engine performance, this piston kit combines high-quality construction with treatment processes intended to improve durability, break-in behavior, and service life. It is a practical replacement solution for riders and technicians restoring engine performance with OEM-compatible components.
The piston is heat-treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to help provide strength and resistance during demanding operating conditions. Its skirt features a molybdenum disulfide coating, which helps reduce friction during initial operation for faster break-in and contributes to extended piston life. The forged design provides a strong, consistent foundation for reliable performance in powersports engines.
This Vertex replacement kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips needed for installation. The piston and included rings are manufactured as OEM replacements, helping simplify component matching during an engine rebuild or top-end service. Verify application compatibility with your specific Husqvarna or KTM model and engine configuration before installation.
