Vertex Forged Big Bore Piston Kit, 89.97 mm for GasGas, Husqvarna and KTM (24238B)

Upgrade engine performance and durability with the Vertex 24238B Forged Big Bore Piston Kit. Designed for select GasGas, Husqvarna, and KTM applications, this piston kit increases engine displacement while supporting stronger torque and peak horsepower. Its forged OE-stock compression design provides a reliable replacement solution for performance-focused rebuilds and engine upgrades.
The piston is heat-treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to improve strength and resistance to demanding operating conditions. A high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating on the piston skirt helps promote faster break-in, reduce friction, and support extended piston life. This combination of materials and treatments is engineered for consistent performance in high-load applications.
The Vertex 24238B kit includes the essential components needed for installation, including the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips. Built to meet Vertex standards, it is a practical choice for maintaining or enhancing compatible GasGas, Husqvarna, and KTM engines. Verify vehicle and engine compatibility before installation to ensure the correct fit and compression configuration.
