Vertex Piston Kit, 71.935 mm for GasGas, Husqvarna and KTM (24244B)

The Vertex 24244B Piston Kit is an OE replacement solution designed for select GasGas, Husqvarna, and KTM engines. This kit features a gravity-cast aluminum alloy piston with 18% silicone content, providing a reliable balance of strength, durability, and dimensional stability for demanding off-road and powersports applications. The piston is engineered to support dependable engine performance while maintaining the fit and function expected from an original-equipment replacement component.
The piston undergoes a T-5 heat-treatment hardening and tempering cycle to improve material strength and durability under operating loads. Its skirt receives a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that helps reduce friction during initial operation, promotes faster break-in, and contributes to extended piston life. This coating is designed to support smoother movement within the cylinder while helping protect the piston during critical early running periods.
The Vertex 24244B kit includes the essential components needed for piston replacement, including the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips. As a cast OE replacement piston rather than a forged design, it is intended for applications requiring a direct, reliable replacement with carefully engineered materials and treatments. Verify engine fitment and application details before installation to ensure compatibility with your GasGas, Husqvarna, or KTM model.
