Vertex Piston Kit - 71.945 mm for GasGas, Husqvarna, and KTM (24244C)

The Vertex 24244C Piston Kit is designed as a cast original-equipment replacement for select GasGas, Husqvarna, and KTM engines. Manufactured from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, this piston provides a dependable balance of strength, durability, and thermal performance for off-road and high-performance applications. Its OE-style construction supports reliable fitment and consistent engine operation when replacing a worn or damaged piston.
The piston is heat treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to enhance structural integrity and service durability. A high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating on the piston skirt helps reduce friction during initial operation, promoting faster break-in and contributing to extended piston life. This coating also supports smoother movement within the cylinder during demanding riding conditions.
Each Vertex 24244C kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips needed for a complete piston replacement. The included components simplify installation and help ensure that the piston assembly is matched for dependable performance. Verify engine application and service requirements before installation to confirm compatibility with your specific GasGas, Husqvarna, or KTM model.
