Vertex Engine Rebuild Kit for Yamaha YZ450F 2003-2005 (WR101-086)

Restore dependable engine performance with the Vertex Engine Rebuild Kit WR101-086, designed for Yamaha YZ450F models from 2003 through 2005. This comprehensive kit brings together the major internal components needed for a thorough engine rebuild, helping simplify parts selection and support a consistent installation process. It is suited for powersports technicians, professional shops, and experienced owners performing scheduled maintenance or a complete engine overhaul.
The kit includes a crankshaft, piston kit, complete engine gasket kit with oil seals, main bearings and seals, and a water pump rebuild kit. These components work together to help renew critical sealing, rotating, and lubrication points within the engine. Replacing related wear items during the same service can help reduce the need for repeated disassembly and provide a more complete foundation for reliable operation.
Where applicable, the Vertex WR101-086 also includes transmission bearings, a countershaft bushing and seal kit, cam chain bearings, and counter balancer bearings. The included components are selected for compatibility with the specified Yamaha YZ450F application, but fitment should be verified against the motorcycle’s model year, engine configuration, and service requirements before installation. Always follow the manufacturer’s repair procedures, torque specifications, and inspection guidelines when rebuilding the engine.
