Vertex Piston Kit 52.94 mm for Kawasaki KX100 (23614050)

The Vertex Piston Kit, Part Number 23614050, is a cast original-equipment replacement piston kit designed for Kawasaki KX100 applications. Manufactured from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, this piston is engineered to provide dependable performance, consistent fitment, and durability for engine rebuilds or service replacements. Its 52.94 mm piston size supports precise compatibility with the specified Kawasaki KX100 application.
The piston is heat treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to improve strength and resistance to operating stresses. A high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating on the piston skirt helps reduce friction during initial operation, supporting faster break-in and contributing to extended piston life. This coating is particularly useful during the early stages of engine service, when proper lubrication and controlled seating are essential.
This Vertex kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips for a convenient and complete replacement solution. Each component is intended to work together for reliable installation and consistent engine performance. The included parts help simplify the rebuild process while restoring the piston assembly in the Kawasaki KX100 engine.
Designed for riders, technicians, and powersports enthusiasts seeking a quality OE-style replacement, the Vertex 23614050 Piston Kit combines application-specific fitment with durable cast construction. Follow the engine manufacturer’s service procedures for installation, ring preparation, lubrication, and break-in to help achieve the best results.
