Vertex Top End Piston Kit for Honda CR80R, 46.95 mm (VTK22499B-1)

The Vertex VTK22499B-1 Top End Piston Kit is designed as a reliable OE replacement solution for Honda CR80R applications. This complete kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, circlips, top-end gaskets, and wrist pin bearing, providing the essential components needed for a thorough top-end rebuild. Its application-specific design supports proper fitment and dependable engine performance when replacing worn or damaged piston components.
The piston is manufactured from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with an 18% silicone content, delivering a durable and stable foundation for high-performance two-stroke engine operation. Unlike a forged piston, this cast OE replacement piston is engineered to match the requirements of the specified Honda CR80R application while supporting consistent service life and dependable operation.
A T-5 heat-treatment cycle hardens and tempers the piston for improved strength and durability. The piston skirt is finished with a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that helps reduce friction during initial operation, promotes faster break-in, and contributes to extended piston life. Together, these features help the Vertex VTK22499B-1 kit provide a practical replacement for restoring top-end performance and reliability.
