Vertex Top End Piston Kit, 53.94 mm for Honda CR125R (VTK22685C)

The Vertex VTK22685C Top End Piston Kit is a dependable OE-replacement solution for rebuilding the top end of compatible Honda CR125R engines. Designed for reliable performance and consistent fitment, this piston kit uses a gravity-cast aluminum alloy construction with 18% silicone content, providing a balance of durability, strength, and controlled expansion for demanding motorcycle applications.
The piston is heat treated through a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to help improve structural integrity and service life. Its piston skirt features a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that promotes faster break-in and helps reduce friction during operation. This coating supports smooth piston movement while contributing to dependable performance throughout the engine’s operating range.
The Vertex VTK22685C kit includes the essential components needed for a complete top-end service, including the piston, piston rings, wrist pins, circlips, top-end gaskets, and a wrist pin bearing. Supplied as a matched replacement package, it helps simplify installation and supports proper component compatibility during engine rebuilding. Confirm application and fitment for your Honda CR125R before installation.
