Vertex Top End Piston Kit, 66.36 mm for Kawasaki KX250 (VTK22795B-1)

The Vertex VTK22795B-1 Top End Piston Kit is a reliable OE replacement solution for Kawasaki KX250 engine rebuilds and top-end service. Designed for dependable fitment and consistent performance, this kit includes the essential components needed to replace the piston assembly and refresh the top end of the engine. The 66.36 mm piston is gravity-cast from an aluminum alloy containing 18% silicone, providing a durable construction suited to demanding motocross and off-road applications.
The piston receives a T-5 heat-treating and tempering cycle to improve strength and durability during operation. Its skirt is finished with a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that helps reduce friction during initial operation, supports faster break-in, and contributes to extended piston life. This cast piston is engineered as an OE replacement, making it a practical choice for maintaining factory-style engine performance and service reliability.
Each Vertex VTK22795B-1 top-end kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, circlips, top-end gaskets, and wrist pin bearing. Supplying these components together helps simplify installation and ensures that critical mating parts are replaced during the rebuild. Follow the motorcycle manufacturer's service procedures for inspection, assembly, clearances, and break-in before returning the Kawasaki KX250 to operation.
