Vertex Top End Piston Kit 66.35 mm for Honda CR250R (VTK22809B)

The VERTEX VTK22809B Top End Piston Kit is a cast OE replacement solution designed for Honda CR250R engines. This complete top-end kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, circlips, top-end gaskets, and wrist pin bearing, providing the essential components needed for a reliable piston replacement and efficient engine service.
The piston is manufactured from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with an 18% silicon content for dependable strength and durability. Unlike a forged piston, this cast construction is engineered as an OE replacement option for riders and technicians seeking consistent fit and performance. The piston is heat treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to help improve material stability and service life under demanding engine conditions.
A high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating on the piston skirt promotes faster break-in and helps reduce friction during initial operation. This coating also supports increased piston life when the engine is properly assembled, lubricated, and maintained. The 66.35 mm piston size is designed specifically for compatible Honda CR250R applications, while the included rings, pins, circlips, gaskets, and wrist pin bearing make this kit a convenient choice for a complete top-end rebuild.
