Vertex Top End Piston Kit for KTM 50 SX and SX Pro Jr., 39.47 mm (VTK22813CD)

The Vertex VTK22813CD Top End Piston Kit is designed as a reliable cast OE replacement for KTM 50 SX and SX Pro Jr. applications. Manufactured from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, this piston is engineered to provide consistent performance, dependable fitment, and durability for demanding off-road use. The kit is intended for refreshing the top end while helping restore proper engine response and operating efficiency.
The piston receives a T-5 heat-treatment hardening and tempering cycle to improve strength and service durability. Its skirt features a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that helps reduce friction during initial operation, supports faster break-in, and contributes to extended piston life. This coating and heat-treatment process make the Vertex piston a practical choice for riders and technicians seeking dependable replacement components without switching to a forged piston design.
Each Vertex VTK22813CD top end kit includes the essential components for installation: one cast piston, piston rings, wrist pins, circlips, top-end gaskets, and a wrist-pin bearing. Supplied as a complete package, the kit helps simplify top-end service and keeps the required replacement parts together for a more efficient rebuild. Verify vehicle application and service specifications before installation to ensure proper compatibility and assembly.
