Vertex Top End Piston Kit, 53.94 mm for Yamaha YZ125/X (VTK23119B)

Restore dependable top-end performance with the VERTEX VTK23119B Top End Piston Kit for select Yamaha YZ125 and YZ125X applications. This cast OE replacement piston is manufactured from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with an 18% silicone content, providing a durable and consistent replacement for worn or damaged original equipment components. The 53.94 mm piston is designed for reliable fitment and effective operation in demanding motocross and off-road riding conditions.
The piston receives a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to improve material strength and durability. Its skirt features a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that helps reduce friction during initial operation, supports faster break-in, and contributes to extended piston service life. This coating and heat-treatment process help the piston withstand the thermal and mechanical demands associated with high-performance two-stroke engines.
The VERTEX VTK23119B kit includes the primary components needed for a complete top-end refresh: piston, piston rings, wrist pins, circlips, top-end gaskets, and a wrist pin bearing. Replacing these components together can help simplify installation and promote dependable sealing, smooth operation, and consistent engine response. Verify vehicle application and service requirements before installation to ensure proper compatibility with your Yamaha YZ125 or YZ125X.
