Vertex Top End Piston Kit, 71.95 mm for Husqvarna and KTM (VTK23375B-2)

The Vertex VTK23375B-2 Top End Piston Kit is designed as a dependable cast OE replacement for select Husqvarna and KTM engines. Manufactured from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with an 18% silicon content, this piston offers a balance of strength, durability, and consistent performance for engine rebuilding and top-end service applications. Its 71.95 mm piston size is engineered to support proper fitment when matched to the appropriate engine specifications.
The piston receives a T-5 heat-treating, hardening, and tempering cycle to help improve durability under demanding operating conditions. Its skirt is finished with a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that promotes faster break-in and helps reduce friction during initial operation. This coating contributes to extended piston life while supporting smooth movement within the cylinder.
The complete Vertex VTK23375B-2 top-end kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, circlips, top-end gaskets, and wrist pin bearing. Including these essential components in one package simplifies installation and helps ensure that related wear items are renewed together during service. For proper results, verify engine compatibility, bore specifications, and installation requirements before assembly.
