Vertex Top End Piston Kit, 1.770 in. Bore for GasGas, Husqvarna and KTM (VTK23430CD)

Restore reliable top-end performance with the Vertex VTK23430CD Top End Piston Kit, designed as a cast OE replacement for select GasGas, Husqvarna and KTM applications. This kit provides the essential components needed for a piston replacement, helping simplify top-end service while maintaining dependable fit and function.
The piston is manufactured from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with an 18% silicone content, providing a durable foundation for consistent operation. Unlike a forged piston, this cast OE replacement is designed for applications where dependable original-equipment-style performance is required. The piston undergoes a T-5 heat-treating, hardening and tempering cycle to improve strength and durability under demanding engine conditions.
A high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating on the piston skirt supports faster break-in and helps promote longer piston life. The coating is engineered to reduce friction during initial operation, while the matched components in the kit help support a complete and efficient top-end installation.
The Vertex VTK23430CD kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, circlips, top-end gaskets and wrist pin bearing. With its application-focused design and complete component package, it is a practical choice for rebuilding the top end of compatible GasGas, Husqvarna and KTM engines. Verify vehicle application and service requirements before installation.
