Vertex Top End Piston Kit, 71.935 mm for GasGas, Husqvarna and KTM (VTK24244B-1)

The Vertex VTK24244B-1 Top End Piston Kit is a reliable OE replacement solution for select GasGas, Husqvarna, and KTM applications. Designed for dependable top-end service, this cast aluminum piston is produced with an 18% silicone content to support dimensional stability, durability, and consistent performance under demanding riding conditions. Its gravity-cast construction provides a practical replacement option for rebuilding an engine while maintaining the fit and function expected from an original-equipment-style piston.
The piston receives a T-5 heat-treating and tempering cycle to improve strength and service life. Its skirt is finished with a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that helps reduce friction during initial operation, supports faster break-in, and contributes to extended piston life. This combination of heat treatment, skirt coating, and cast aluminum construction helps promote smooth operation and dependable performance throughout the service interval.
The Vertex VTK24244B-1 kit includes the essential components for a complete top-end installation: piston, piston rings, wrist pin, circlips, top-end gaskets, and a wrist pin bearing. Supplied as a coordinated kit, these components help simplify the rebuild process and provide the parts needed to restore compression and refresh the upper engine assembly. Verify vehicle application and service requirements before installation to ensure proper compatibility.
