Vertex Top-End Piston Kit for Honda CRF250R/X, 77.95 mm (VTKTC22983A)

Upgrade the top end of your Honda CRF250R or CRF250X with the Vertex VTKTC22983A Top-End Piston Kit. Designed as a forged OEM replacement, this kit delivers dependable performance and durability for engine rebuilding, maintenance, and replacement applications. The piston is forged from high-strength 2618 aluminum, providing the strength and reliability needed for demanding four-stroke motorcycle use.
The piston undergoes a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to improve material durability and resistance to operating stresses. Its skirt features a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that helps reduce friction, support faster break-in, and promote extended piston life. This combination of forged construction, thermal treatment, and skirt coating is engineered to provide consistent performance throughout the piston’s service life.
The Vertex VTKTC22983A kit includes the essential components needed for a complete top-end piston replacement. Each kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, circlips, top-end gaskets, and cam chain, helping simplify installation and reduce the need to source individual components separately. Verify engine model and application details before installation to ensure proper fitment for your Honda CRF250R or CRF250X.
