Vertex Top End Piston Kit for Honda CRF250R/X, 77.96 mm (VTKTC23113B)

Upgrade the top end of your Honda CRF250R or CRF250X with the Vertex VTKTC23113B Top End Piston Kit. This forged high-compression piston is designed to improve power and torque throughout the engine’s RPM range while providing the durability required for demanding off-road and motocross applications. The piston is forged from 2618 aluminum, a material selected for its strength and performance in high-temperature engine environments.
The piston is heat treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to support reliable operation under demanding conditions. Its skirt features a high-tech molybdenum disulfide coating that helps reduce friction, promote faster break-in, and extend piston service life. This combination of high-compression design, heat treatment, and skirt coating helps deliver consistent performance and dependable fitment when rebuilding the top end of a compatible Honda engine.
The Vertex VTKTC23113B kit includes the essential components for a comprehensive top-end installation: forged piston, piston rings, wrist pin, circlips, top-end gaskets, and cam chain. Supplied components help simplify the replacement process and ensure that the major wear items are addressed together during service. Verify engine model, year, and piston specifications before installation to confirm compatibility with your Honda CRF250R or CRF250X.
