The cork friction plates are infused with aluminum particles to promote smooth power delivery and consistent clutch engagement. This material helps resist fading during demanding riding conditions, supporting dependable performance through repeated clutch use. The included steel plates are engineered to remain stable without the expansion associated with aluminum plates, helping maintain consistent clutch operation as temperatures rise.
Heat-treated clutch springs are included for improved durability and long service life. Together, the friction plates, steel plates, and springs provide a balanced replacement package for restoring clutch feel and performance. Please note that Maico sintered bronze plate applications do not include steel plates; this exclusion applies to all Maico kits.
