Vintco Clutch Plate Kit for Yamaha IT/YZ 250/490 (KCLY14)

The VINTCO KCLY14 Clutch Plate Kit is designed to help simplify clutch service on select Yamaha IT and YZ 250 and 490 motorcycles. This complete kit includes steel plates, friction plates, and clutch springs, providing the primary components needed to restore dependable clutch engagement without sourcing each part separately. VINTCO uses modern materials and manufacturing techniques to support fitment and performance comparable to original equipment specifications.
Cork friction plates infused with aluminum particles help promote smooth power delivery and consistent operation under demanding riding conditions. The steel clutch plates are engineered not to expand like aluminum plates, helping maintain predictable clutch performance as operating temperatures rise. Together, the friction and steel plates are designed to support reliable engagement, reduced fade, and durable service in off-road and competition applications.
The included clutch springs are heat treated for extended service life and consistent clamping force. This VINTCO kit is intended for straightforward installation and is a practical replacement solution for riders and technicians servicing compatible Yamaha IT/YZ models. Please verify motorcycle year, model, and application details before installation to ensure the VINTCO KCLY14 kit matches the intended clutch assembly. Note that Maico applications use sintered bronze plates and do not include steel plates.
