The Wiseco 522M06700 kit includes a forged piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips for a complete installation package. High-tech piston construction supports maximum compression ratios, while the ultra-stiff forging helps maintain performance under demanding riding conditions. Titanium nitride-coated rings contribute to reliable sealing and long-lasting performance, and each piston receives an E-Coated crown, ring grooves, and pin bore for improved resistance to wear, micro-welding, galling, and detonation.
GP Series components generally require less external machining, helping improve bore sealing for increased compression. Boost ports are removed to deliver a more predictable powerband and stronger top-end pull. The 67.00 mm piston is designed specifically for the Yamaha IT200. Cylinder sleeves must be purchased separately. Wiseco Racer’s Choice pistons may allow extended service intervals compared with conventional Wiseco pistons, but this kit is intended for expert racers and experienced tuners who understand high-performance engine setup and maintenance.
