Wiseco High-Compression Piston Kit for Kawasaki KX250/X, 97.00 mm (RE831M07800)

Developed through research and dyno testing, the Wiseco RE831M07800 piston kit is engineered to deliver proven power gains and responsive performance for compatible Kawasaki KX250/X applications. Its high-compression design helps increase torque and sharpen throttle response, while the optimized dome promotes efficient flame travel for more complete air and fuel combustion. This piston is manufactured in the USA from billet material for an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and precise fitment.
The asymmetric skirt design promotes improved wear characteristics and distributes loading more evenly across the major thrust skirt. An ArmorGlide® skirt coating helps reduce friction, supports quieter operation, and improves scuff resistance. The piston also features enhanced pin oiling for improved lubrication, while the DLC-coated piston pin reduces friction and helps protect against scuffing during demanding engine operation.
Wiseco pairs the piston with a precision-fit ring package, including a custom-lapped compression ring designed to support power production. The pressure seal groove helps reduce ring lifting and minimize power loss at operating speed. This complete kit includes the piston, rings, piston pin, and circlips for a streamlined installation. Compression is rated at 14.0:1 for 450cc applications and 14.5:1 for 250cc applications; verify engine compatibility, fuel requirements, and setup specifications before installation.
