Wossner Piston Kit, 76.97 mm for Yamaha (8957DB)

Upgrade your Yamaha engine with the Wossner 8957DB Piston Kit, engineered for dependable performance, improved lubrication, and efficient ring sealing. This lightweight piston uses a tight piston wall clearance to help reduce operating noise while supporting reliable engine operation. The piston is designed for applications requiring a 76.97 mm piston diameter and is built to meet the demands of performance-focused and replacement engine work.
The enhanced piston pin oiling slots, radial boss machining, and annular grooves promote improved wrist pin lubrication, helping reduce friction and support long-term durability. A coated skirt further reduces friction and helps promote consistent break-in performance, while the treated ring land is designed to improve ring seal and oil control. These features work together to support efficient combustion and dependable oil management.
The Wossner 8957DB uses a double-bridged forging design where specified, providing a strong foundation for demanding applications. Each kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and pin locks for a convenient installation package. Verify engine application and required clearances before installation to ensure proper fitment and performance.
